Together, Archival Mist and Paper Bright protect paper from the damaging effects of acid and light. Archival Mist deposits a safe, non toxic alkaline buffer into the structure of paper that continues to work over time. This buffer neutralizes acids that can weaken paper and cause it to become brittle. Treated paper will last at least five times longer than if left untreated. Paper Bright contains safe, non toxic UV absorbing compounds in an acid free formula. It helps paper resist the yellowing effect of age and allows it to retain it's brightness . Both are designed to protect paper based materials, including letters, envelopes, newsprint, certificates, awards, artwork, books and pamphlets. Neither contain solvents or affect ink, adhesive, leather, plastic, metal or fabric so residue on tabletops can be cleaned with a soft dry or slightly damp cloth. Although not intended for use directly on photographs, photographs can safely be stored with treated materials with no adverse effect. 1.5 ounces each.
